A hidden treasure!! This place is very unsuspecting but the food is delicious. Be patient and get ready for a pleasant surprise from this convenient store/sandwich shop. It's a little off the beaten path but authentic. I had a cheesesteak the first day and an Italian hoagie the next. Both were great. If you have the time, eat there while everything is super hot. Oh, don't sleep on the fries either. My new go-to spot when I'm in Philly!
I had the cheesesteak and the meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, blending harmoniously with the melted cheese and sautéed onions. The roll is just the right balance of soft and chewy, holding everything together without overpowering the flavors inside. In my opinion, This is the best cheesesteak I have ever eaten. The location isn't great and it's a convenience store with a few tables to eat. But the service was really decent and the cheesesteak tasted so damn good.
